Objective: To create a striking, modern magazine cover mockup featuring a high-profile celebrity, demonstrating editorial layout skills.
Design Strategy: A monochromatic pink aesthetic was chosen to reflect the subject's specific beauty brand identity. The layout adheres to classic editorial rules while adding modern flair—such as the subject's head overlapping the iconic masthead to create a 3D, popping effect.
Visual Hierarchy: The classic Vogue masthead anchors the top, while the subject's dynamic pose guides the eye diagonally across the page. Supporting text (cover lines) is neatly framed in the negative space on the left and right, utilizing varying weights and colors to establish reading priority.
Key Elements: Subject-masthead overlapping, varied typographic hierarchy (serif, sans-serif, and brush script), and cohesive color grading.
